My feline friend*
This year I've re-discovered what I need to do to nurture the person, colleague, leader and ally I want to be.
Yesterday someone told me that ‘a poem or other word composition in which the first letter of each new line spells out a word, message or the alphabet', (Wikipedia), is an acrostic. She told me that as I shared my version of one as I'd scribbled reminders of a re-discovery.
I've re-discovered what I need to do to nurture the person, colleague, leader and ally I want to be now and in the future. Each letter in my acrostic represents a phrase and how I'll navigate my work and other organisational systems - well, now I know what its called.
I’m sharing it in here, in my digital garden to learn, think out loud and connect. To help me and, if other people read and reflect - maybe help new thoughts and actions take root. These are my contact details if you'd like to talk more and subscribe details are below.
Each letter is centred on something for and about me. That centring is important as I’ve often focused on the systems and organisations around me (knowing they can create barriers). Each letter and phrase will have a short post exploring what I've rediscovered and how it will inform my behaviour in future.
